Dad's Philippine Trip

Melissa slept over last night because we had to get up at 4:00 this morning to take Dad to the airport.  We stopped at QuikTrip first for gas and breakfast.  Stayed at the airport for a bit (we knew it was less than 30 minutes because the parking fee was still $1.00).  Came back home and went back to sleep.  I cleaned the house and did yard work for the rest of the day while Andrew played Frisbee Golf with the boys.  Bernoulli got his bath at PetSmart.  We ate dinner at Smash Burger.

Hmmm...

Woke up a little late this morning.
Went downstairs to find out that Bernoulli was left outside all night...
I'm not going to say who's fault it was *cough* Andrew *cough* *cough*
Had a late lunch at the Chinese/Mexican buffet.

When we got back to work, the alarm was going off.

We spent the next hour just talking outside.

Went to the driving range with Chris.
Finally, went to Oklahoma Joe's for a Z-Man sandwich!

KCCC Kick-Off Party

I got to leave work early to go to the Kansas City Corporate Challenge Kick-Off Party!

Went with Burd, Chris, Tanner, and the rest of the Honeywell participants.

Saw Ninang Venus, Tito Abel, Joanne and her son.
Went fishing at the pond behind Tita Vangie's house.
Visited Rhys' fire station.

VJ & Val spent the night so that they can ride with us to the race.

Didn't do as well this time as I did last time...

Andrew and I decided to get a Garmin watch during dinner...

Andrew and I decided to go for a walk since it was such a nice night.
We took the Indian Creek Trail through the MANU campus.

Background:
There was a 5-10 minute hail storm Sunday night with golf ball sized hail.  I was in the shower when it happened.  I remember it sounding like a train was going through the house.

I called my insurance company about possible hail damage and they recommended a business that some of the girls in the office used.  Pro Roofing Systems, Inc. came by the house today and said that I will need a brand new roof.

VJ & Val's Bahama Trip

I picked up the tan couple at MCI.  :)
We met up with Melissa, Andy, and the kids at Pei Wei.
(Andrew was at Chuck E. Cheese's for Ava's 2nd birthday.)

I got a Bahamas Hoodie and Flip Flops.
