Got up early this morning and dragged Andrew to a house in KCK to help out our community for Honeywell's Christmas in October.
Andrew helped out with random odd jobs around the exterior of the house. I focused more on the yard. Helping dismantle and get rid of the old chain-linked fence. Raking up leaves and branches, then mulching anything we can get into the shredder.
During lunch this cat came by and helped itself to some of my potato chips. :)
Andrew and I volunteered to pick up some colorful mums for the home owner, Mrs. Velma. The closest place that sold flowers was at the City Market. Ended up buying potting soil and (purple, red, and yellow) mums.
We ended up finishing everything the Team Captains had on the "to-do" list.
It feels good to do volunteer work.
